Artist description
"Mature artistry...hauntingly memorable," says Jay Votel of the Washington Times. This ain't your Daddy's folk music. Sultry and edgy, with her taste for haunting violins and guitars, irresistible rhythms and the silky voice of a modern-day siren, Morrigan's music has a rare depth and beauty that is sorely lacking in today's radio pop. Absorbing, heart-wrenching, and refreshingly substantial, Morrigan will make you fall in love with music again. |

Artist History
Morrigan, classically trained vocalist and pianist, has had a rocky relationship with her voice since her late teens, when she damaged it so severely that she was unable to sing for several years. Now fully healed, her crystalline timbre and exquisite clarity are uniquely expressive, and her gentle, intelligent treatment of beautifully penned melodies is a welcome change from the vocal acrobatics of many of her fellow female pop artists. |
