Artist History David Thirgood starting playing guitar at the age of 8 when he first saw Brett Garsed playing with Australian pop artist John Farnham in 1987. "There was something about that red Stratocaster and the sound he got out of it... all I wanted to do was have his job!" Since then Dave has been working on the Far North Coast of New South Wales with his own blues/rock band and has recently made a move to Sydney to further his career. "This is the place to be if you want to make it in this business in Australia."
