Artist History I was originally in a kick-ass indie rock band called Vortex 479 (http://www.mp3.com/vortex479) as the lead singer/bassist, but I decided to move to Seattle with my sister to get out of Virginia Beach and try something new. The vast distance from my bandmates sort of strained the whole band thing, so we decided to part ways amicably. At that point, I figured I'd give some attention to material I'd been collecting over the last year or so and finally start on a solo project.
