Artist description
The counter-cross-cultural clash called Anomie Mind
was formed in 2001 by a couple of alter-latinos from
the barrios of Nueva York. Having played together in
a myriad of musical-mental movements, now vocalist
Maureen Dickson, drummer Jose Lorenzo, guitarist
Orlando Gonzalez, and bassist Glenn Aroca have
created this uprooted uprock bomba blended metal-
merengue meltdown raza-rock funk-feminist folklorico
fusion as a platform for their personal, always
political dreams turned nightmares, instigated
aspirations and resistant reasonings, adding another
angry anomie voice, vision and vibe to the broken
language of liberation. |
