Press Reviews
"...that, of course, will leave tons of people wondering as to where they need to set their watches when Woodbine Station plays; emos will think the band's an hour ahead while strict pop enthusiasts will assume it's part of some emo zone. The fact is, it's neither. While the band's melodies have dialed in a sound that suggests emo-mania, they're not nearly as fey as they'd at first seem. Whether the band indulges in the powerhouse guitar layering perfected by Hum ("The Mystery Spot") or lets basic arrangements burst into soaring washes of guitar ("November"), Woodbine Station's got the power to break from power pop and emo alike."
