Artist description Tony Barrera is a progressive/art rock band which likes to experiment with hard rock,symphonic,fusion and some jazzThe band is led by the lead guitarist Tony Barrera which plays guitar pattern and harmonics based on mathematical formulas!Many of the songs are based on odd beats (5-beat 7-beat etc..)and complex harmonics.In the bottom the band plays Hard rock like Deep Purple and Black sabbath.But on the edge Jazz music theory are used.

Artist History Tony Barrera Band First formed back in 1977, aleays writing their own material and developed their vibrant but somewhat demanding mix of hard rock,Jazz, mock-baroque and folk music.The line-up changed over the years, But Tony Barrera, Bassplayer Roine Jansson and guitarist/lyricist Christer Bolin still hangs on through all the years of tears.The work with the band's first CD initiated by Tony and the drummer Johan started in the beginning 2000 and was compleated almost a year later. Matured and refined Tony Barrera Band's first CD is out. At their best!
