Artist History
Established in 1994, aspiring lyricists: Oob and Rich One began first writing rap lyrics to instrumentals of secular hip-hop with religious themes. Oob spent 3 years in the US military service (1996-1999) and Rich One collaborated with a group of guys to form: "Last Day Prophets". After returning from the Navy, Last Day Prophets disbanded, and Oob rejoined Rich One in the original intent of establishing a hip hop duo in September of 1999. In December 1999, a third member, N8OVN, brought his technical, singing, and rhyming skills to the lyrical styling of what was then known as "Vigilantiz". A final change brought forth the name: "The Knomaddz", and to date the work entitled: "Visitors Information (The Demo)" exists as a self-produced/self-published effort. |
