Artist History SEwN SHuT Early in the year 2000 drummer O.J, Landa and bassist Oscar Guillen got together to start working on a project. Hailing from the southern part of Texas known as Corpus Christi they immediately decided to go with a heavy format. With the addition of guitarist Moses Gonzales and vocalist Jeremy Blade SEWN SHUT became a force and quickly gained local attention. Each member brought with them experience and a deep dedication to heavy music. Common influences like; SLAYER, MAClllNE HEAD, SEPULTURA, and ANTHRAX, c along with a vast variety of heavier roots that range from; CRO-MAGS, CANNIBAL CORPSE, HATEBREED and PRO-PAIN, help give SEWN SHUT an uncommon style that blends melody with progressive poundings of thrash and death. Their powerful sound and relentless commitment has allowed SEWN SHUT to share the stage with bands like: INCANTATION, 40 GRIT, and MORBill ANGEL, and keeping them on the roads allover Texas and taking them as far north as Minnesota.
