Artist History Originally from Trenton New Jersey, Karnal has been blazing the mic since the age of 13. My Influences vary because I’m a big fan of music, but to name a few, AZ really got me started rapping. I liked his style because he didn’t rhyme about thuggin or killing, just pure intellect, the same level that I’m on. Also BDP, Kool G Rap, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane and Tragedy Khadafi from Marley Marls “the Juice Crew”. The Style of Karnal knowledge can be described as mood swings. I am very diverse but my main style of rap is knowledge second is freestyle I say knowledge and reality are my main styles because most of my music stems from philosophical thoughts and my personal life’s experiences. I’ve down shows in VA at the HU Convocation Center, Norfolk State, VA State University and in Atlanta at Club Warehouse, where I’ve performed on stage with rap artist Drama and opened up for various rap acts. After searching for the hottest producer in the area, I was introduced to DJ Krazy Kraz by What Yall Thought member Shawn Bless. Dj Krazy Kraz, originally from the Bronx, NY, use to produce tracks under the direction of BDP producer Pal Joey (loves Gonna Get Ya, Black Cop, 13 and Good, Cherish the Day Remix for Sade). He signed me to his In The Temple Entertainment production company and that’s when we came up with various hot tracks and my first E.P. entitled “The Rebirth”. Under the direction of Doc Holiday, who Kraz had worked with Doc before, mastered and mixed the EP. Finally, we came up with the hot song and video “Bangin This”.
