Artist History Impulse 120 hails from Rocklin, Ca just north of the booming Sacramento area music scene. The band formed on January 20th 2001 (hence the 120) by former members of the bands Severance and Used2bsane. Sam Mcleod (Severance, vocals) brothers, Josh, Joel and Erik Nelson (guitars and bass) and long time friend of the Nelson's Nick Florendo (Used2bsane, drums) are the founding members of this project. Impulse 120, combining originality and talent to form a powerful and different sound, deliver a damaging blow to conformity while maintaining a mainstream feel utilizing heavy grooving guitars and intense - melodic vocals that capture your attention from the very beginning. Live the band is unparalleled in performance; high energy and tight musicianship describe the entertaining live show the best.
