Press Reviews
Some time ago, a sample CD arrived through
my letterbox, much to my surprise and delight!!
I had never heard of the artists before, but
stuck on the CD with fascination, as I am always
interested in finding out about Irish artists who
have yet to come to the attention of the general
masses…… Immediately I was impressed. Imagine a
male voice that for all the world sounds like
Chris Rea, female vocals that my husband reckons
are like Dido, excellent musicianship,
well-crafted songs with catchy melodic hooks,
with definite influences of U2 in there too. Put
all that together and what have you got ?? - a
duo known as One Week of Days. Their album should
be completed shortly, and everyone I have come
across since then, who is familiar with them,
agrees with me that this promises to be one
great album – one which is definitely worthy
of mass attention!!!
