Artist description Jay's Pride is a mellow metal band from Halmstad, Sweden. So what is mellow metal? Since we are still new, I'd describe us as: "Take the gothic part from "Theatre of Tragedy" and the metal part from "Paradise Lost" and you get Jay's Pride". We are a good gothic/mellow metal band and we love to play live.

Artist History Jay's Pride started out in the city of Halmstad, Sweden, in the year 2000 as a side-project, but we decided that it should become a permanent band after the two first songs were recorded. If someone asked us what we are playing, we'd probably answer mellow metal or gothic-inspired-metal. The inspiriation comes from bands like Paradise Lost, Theatre of tragedy and Atrocity.
