Artist description Eve’s apple formed in a garage in Autumn 1998; each of the members drawn to the garage by a mix of fortunes.Most of Juliette’s previous band had left South Africa; Randall had just arrived in South Africa from Canada where he had been playing in some loud metal bands;Conrad who had taken a liking to the off-stage antics of Juliette and proved himself handy with a guitar;Eddie was tired of playing french horn;and Shayne came to complain about the noise!And the name you ask? Someone suggested "God’s Green Sock", but that found its way into a song title. Someone suggested "Otherwise Moody" but that too snuck into a song. And so "eve’s apple" was born by default; at the same time capturing the sense of forbidden fruit with the tongue planted firmly in the cheek!
