A Southside Chicago native now residing in LA, discovered his musical talents as a 6th grader in Walter Dyett’s school band. Initial training in trumpet, clarinet, tenor sax, piano and voice gave him the green light to take music wherever he wanted it to go. He parlayed his skills through the then prominent Chicago sound, house music, into a host of neighborhood DJ gigs by age 12. By age 19 he caught the rhyming bug and began pursuing a career as a recording artist. Plugging with ACE ILL and MAD G to form SINISTA MOB, a hard-core underground group that gained regional success. The group disbanded due to lack of professional representation was the deciding factor in Boagart’s decision to press on as a writer/producer. Relocating to LA in 2000 and pursuing his goals in the entertainment industry was the leap of faith that broke the artistic stagnation he experienced after his groups demise. Now with thick production and intelligent, mature, street-wise lyrics, Boagart is more than ready to hit with an impact that will dent the thinking of what quality Hip-Hop should be.
