Artist History
Weird head was formed in 1996 by two guys who just wanted to play music with no boundaries. After MANY line-up changes the new Weird head line-up is now set at six. We have two bass players a guitarist, drummer, lead singer and percussion/trumpet player. With the new line up We have been playing the L.A. scene since '98 and are exposing our music to the masses. The internet and touring the western states is helping us. If you want to hear something different on the menu, that's us!!! By the way "Baby Jorden" was self released in 97. After we secured are line up including Tim Rossetti (drums) and Bruce Miyaki (vocals) we have been picked up by "Inzane records" and are almost finished recording our new album. Look for it in late august or sept.2000 |

Press Reviews
full length “Speakerface” on Celestial Recordings. Next up was“WEIRDHEAD”. They started out their set with a high hat and guitarriff that sounded like some funky TV show from the 70’s show. This was the intro to “Sugar Daddy”. A nice pace to start off the show. From there things got crazy. They busted into “Soup Sandwich” aHigh-energy song with some intense vocals. The two vocalists , Ralph (who also plays bass) and Bruce take command of the audience from the very start. I was very impressed with the onstage musicianship ofThese guys. With Mike (guitar) and Ozzie (percussion\horns) jumping up and down on either side or Sandy (bass) slapping out some funky bass line. This band has found their groove and it rocks the house. Their drummer Tim provides the solid beats that hold this unit together. Their anthem song “god bless pussy” is definite crowd pleasers. With elements of funk and hardcore they kept the house rocking. This band is going places! Well that’s all for this month. See ya in the pit…… |
