Artist description
Tom Dillon is a versatile musician who plays lead, rhythm, slide guitar and piano. His guitar laced instrumentals range from Larry Carltonesque acoustic melodies to Santana and Eric Johnson-tinged electric guitar instrumental after-burners. Listen.com said "Review: Dillon is a veteran guitar player whose style brings to mind Larry Carlton and, especially, Eric Clapton's soundtrack work. Like Clapton, he lets his guitar sing over backgrounds that range from Blues Rock and jazz to moody synths." - Nick D. These instrumentals were written specifically for film and TV scores and are in styles as diverse as Blues, Jazz, Pop, Rock and even some Rave (Techno)and Hip Hop. The CD is titled "Voyeur's View". Tom's tune, "Nobody Home", was recently selected for the mp3.com e-Greeting Card rotation. |
