Artist History STRONG got their start in the music business quite by chance. Their late father -- who played keyboards and toured the country as a member of Rhythmn & Blues legend Tyrone Davis' band -- would sing a song to his children every night before they went to sleep. One night, his sons chimed in and he realized they had harmony. He and his wife decided to form a group, which they believed would give their children something constructive and positive to do.
