Artist description
"ridiculouslygoodmusic" P-Stone's sound is ultimately the sum total of its parts. Fans have classified their music as lying somewhere between Dave Mathews Band, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Phish. The band fuses together elements of pop, funk, alternative. Stay tuned...the new Album "Intuition" will be out in just a few months, featuring more acoustic guitar based arrangements jangling over tight bass and drum grooves, accented by a 2 piece horn section. |

Artist History
Who are these guys?
P-Stone have been performing regularly at clubs, bars, parks, streets, gutters, backyards, basements, and everywhere else one can imagine, throughout New York City and New Jersey since 1997.
The latest music frorm the band combines B.J. Fesq's harmony rich lyrics that even the most discerning listener would appreciate, with down to earth, musically interesting acoustic guitar based hooks. Rounding off the sound is the tight funksomeness provided by Pete Duncan (5-string bass) and Pete Johnson (Drums and percussion). Adding the sassy brassy to the mix is a two piece horn section consisting of Matt Abbot (Trombone) and Mark Ousviatsov (Trumpet, originally from Russia). The raw chemistry and force of this band fuses together and hits you where it counts with what is ultimately recognizable as the Philospher Stone sound: Ridiculouslygoodmusic.
