    Artist description
The Goddess Hera, incensed by her husband Jupiter's infidelity, appears to Jupiter's mortal mistress (and mother of Jupiter's unborn illegitimate son) Semele in the guise of Semele's nurse, Beroe. Hera tricks Semele into asking Jupiter to reveal himself to her in all his divine glory, which he does, incinerating Semele instantaneously. Jupiter manages to rescue his son from Semele's womb prior to her death, and sews the infant into his massive thigh, where he stays until his birth, whereupon the child is turned over to the Nymphs of Nysa. Under the Nymphs' care the child is reared and in time becomes the God Bacchus, Lord of Wine, Song and Revelry. Jupiter's Thigh is the surrogate womb of Rock and Roll.

    Press Reviews
"There's a lot to like about 'Little Corpse,' a great guitar riff that is instantly memorable, a hard rocking beat that could have come out of the 60's. The subject matter is gleefully sardonic with lots of garage atmospherics and vocal harmonies that aren't quite right yet are perfect. The quality of the recording, everything teetering on the verge of almost distorting, adds to the party-like atmosphere and as is the case with lo-fi productions is an integral part of the song. I like everything about this song."--Bruce Satinover, www.amp3review.com "Kayleigh spins around you like a dream that makes you feel increasingly good. The band has taken the surreal imagery of its own symbolist poetry and set it to Byrds/Fairport Convention type electric folk textures that wash over the listener and leave him or her dazzled."--Frank Palmieri
