Artist History Guadalupe Divina was born in Mexico City on October 2nd. she completed her Degree in Bell Canto from Superior Music School , Escuela Superior de Musica INBA/SEP.Her Hobbies are Writing poems and songs, Oil Painting, Computers, Reading, Playing instruments like Guitar and some piano. She has been a Professional Singer since she was 8 years old. She Started her singing career on May 10th, 1978. Festivals and Contests: In 1978, she performed in a Contest called Festival of New Talents , Festival de Nuevos Valores organized by Raul Velazco on Channel 2 in Mexico City. In 1984, she participated in a contest called Teen Talents Bacardi, Valores Juveniles Bacardi in Mexico City. She won 10th place out of 15,000 participants. In 1985, she won 3rd place in a contest called First Contest of Composition of Mexican Popular Music, Primer Certamen de Composicion de Musica Popular Mexicana organized by The Society of Music and Writers, La Sociedad de Autores y Compositores de Musica in Mexico City. Guadalupe Divina is a true singer because she expresses the emotion of the song while she is making beautiful sounds with her vocal artistry. This is primarily a CD of Latino music with a few romantic ballads and one really good rock song. These highlight the versatility of Guadalupe Divina as she is comfortable in all 3 styles. I especially like the romantic ballads because the expression highlights the intensity of the music and song.
