Artist History Ekwalm hasbeen making electronic music in different forms since 1987. Needless to saythe style has changed. "My freind Erin West and I started out as kindagoth/industrial influenced by Kraftwerk, Front242, Xymox, Tones on Tail typestuff. Back then we hated the Beastie Boys! As the 80's ended we startedbeing influenced by more dance music, Eon, 808 state, Meat BeatManifesto(okay, they weren't that dancey)... etcetera. After the DustBrothers got hold of the Beastie Boys we really started to like them. Ourmusic still reflects it's dark roots, but we no longer rule out using theoccasional triplet."
