Artist History Producer and Sound Designer - Da Overc'er (Art Avery) originally from Kansas City, Mo. has always had his ears open to all kinds of music. Influential jazz artist include Count Basie, Charlie Parker, Jay Mc Shann. The funky sounds of the 70's, bought about Parliament/Funkadelic, Cameo, Ohio Players, Earth, Wind & Fire. To the beatmasters of today, Dr. Dre, Teddy Riley, JD, Timbaland & Premier. In Early 1999 Da Overc'er decided to incorporate all of his influences into his hybrid of funky hip-hop jazz, music that spans the past, present and future. Give it a listen and become enticed.
