Artist description
The Collins Brothers are Rob & Kenny Collins, two guitar playing and singing siblings from New Jersey. The acoustic electric folk rock duo has been playing the coffeehouse circuit in their slice of the Garden State for the last 10 years, both as solo acts and as a duo, and with friend Neil Raper as the trio Mad Hatter. The brother's talents blend exquisitely, Rob's electrified acoustic wails swirling around Kenny's melodic acoustic rhythms and warm, rich voice telling tales of life in today's world. On their first CD, "A Taste Of Summer" they are joined by a host of talent, including Jamie Coan(From Good Homes-RCA), Don Conoscenti(solo, Ellis Paul), John Kurgan & Heather Hardy(Amazing Incredibles), Kim Williams(Angus), Lara Gonzalez & Suzanne Carrington(Laurie Cagno Band), Gregg Cagno, Karl Dietel(Uncle Sloppy, One Cat Left), among others. |

"I never seen the Collins Bros perform but Kenny's a good cook and Rob rides a motorcycle. What could be wrong with that?" -Spook Handy, New Jersey folk legend
"The Collins Brothers present an honesty with their music, that is missing in the industry today."
