Artist description
D Ritt puts a twist on the typical mainstream image of the music scene. As a current member of the US Military and an Elite Police Drug Unit, D Ritt was born November 24, 1972 in Racine, Wisconsin. All-American, All-Real, and All-Attitude.
Motivated to bring a musical merger of the best of all genres, D Ritt strives to pave the way into the future of Alternative Rock/Hip-Hop Music.
Inspired by his father, a masterful rock guitarist, D Ritt drummed his way throughout his childhood to Rock, Heavy Metal, Jazz, Orchestral, and Hip-Hop music.
“My style is heavily versatile and influenced by all types of music, regardless of genre. I am tired of the same old thing. I know the streets, I know the games, I know the players. We need a different no-holds barred, multi-dimensional artist, who can back it up with a different style of music.”
Uncompromising in his efforts to create not only a unique style, and quality sound, D Ritt plays it all: Drums, Keyboards, Guitar, Bass, Percussion, Vocals, and performs all facets of computerized recording and production.
With his own blend of Hip-Hop, Rock, Techno, and Alternative Music, D Ritt writes, records, and produces his own music, getting airplay from local radio stations to radio stations overseas.
If not in the studio, D Ritt also currently writes/performs for a local Symphonic Orchestra and Marching Band.
D Ritt is also a focal point for local artists as he writes, records, and produces for other DJs, Hip-Hop, and R&B artists.
With most of his recent projects and developments coming with his production efforts, D Ritt hopes to soon play Midwest venues again to appease his large local and web based fan following.
