Artist description XX1 (Leyton Carter) is a solo artist who enjoys writing music for the fun od it rather than to make money. He is in college studying a National Diploma in Pop music (performance based), as he plays Keyboards/Piano as well as programming music.

Music Style XX1 creates songs of many genres, Including club, dance, balads.. just listen to find out!

Musical Influences My main influences are other users of MED soundstudio, and some top artists like Darren Flinders. Also some more commercial artists, like Darude.

Artist History Leyton stated composing Music in 1996 when he was shown a program called "OctaMed v.4" From here his interest in music programming grew as the tracker developed. OctaMed Soundstudio was released some years later on the Amiga, as an 4-8 track tracker. Upon expanding his abilities he descovered a new feature allowing the use of up to 64 tracks (with degrading sound quality). The family then bought a PC and Leyton descovered that there was in fact a superior PC version, and from then on has been mixing new tunes and editing individual tracks in seperate software such as CoolEdit Pro v1.2

Group Members As of yet XX1 has only one member and is not looking to expand, however more members have not been ruled out.

Instruments XX1 only external instrument is a keyboard (CD-10Hyperkeyboard)

Albums None officially released as yet, However one may be released soon, entitled "XX1 - The Digital Revolution"
