    Artist description
Uber Faction is the focused efforts of underground electro artists XoN VoX and Dill Flesh."We are doing our part to kill mediocrity in this age of mindless monotony. We thrive on morphing beauty and brutality into ambivalent clockwork."UF's vibrant sound is a unique hybrid of "melodic ebm" and "chromatic industrialism". Sounds range from slower bass driven seductions, to seizure inducing beats. Complex sequencing, along with slicing guitar work, curious sampling, and grinding vox commands create an eerie, yet hypnotic feeling through every track. Lyrics invoke a realistic irony, aimed right between your futures eyes.

This is by far the most club friendly of anything local I received. Fucking brutal; I love it. AGGRO! AGGRO! Aggro is good. Aggro is your friend. Now let's take the brutality and contrast it with some mellow, eerie female vocals and we have a concept that has been used by others, but used more in moderation making Uber Faction a very balanced product. You can find Onslaught at Modified, and I suggest you at least stop by and give it a listen if nothing else. I have played this disc for numerous people and the response seems to be very positive. Your resident Area 51 DJs have also been rather taken by these guys, so be expecting to hear some of their material being played on Friday nights. J Cameron/Modus Operandi-SLUG Magazine
