Artist description
Chicago's Silicone Honey breeds an infectious blend of pop, rock and funk. Pulling from a myriad of influences, these boys have showed us that rock is not dead just needing a new edge. Rejecting the rap/rock & hard rock trend, silicone honey puts out a sugary blend of melodic twang guitar, deep grooved bass, charged rhythm, and catchy lyrics. John Molina [guitar] brings the return of the guitar with his amazing display of show stopping solos, inventive leads, and twang riffs. Bassist Aaron Elmore uses a driving and original style to give the music a push and a new spin. Front man Tom Loomis (formerly of setup) provides the crowds with hooks and lyrics that leaves people singing along before they even realize it; he shows that anthem style lyrics can be catchy yet intelligent at the same time. With the recent addition of Zach Donaldson [rhythm], came the piles of broken sticks. Donaldson with his swift beats brings the rock edge that puts the final touch for this band. All four members add their uniqueness and experiences to make silicone honey stand out. |
