Artist History Ri Ri Jones, being sponsored by Dr. Emma Jones, Pastor of The Church At South Seattle, began her musical ambition for motivating young people in the church. Participating in various youth ministry nights and weddings throughout the Seattle area, Ri Ri uses her innovative lyrics to propel a new image of young women in the areas of spirituality, intellect, integrity and romance. Her stylish performances to diverse audiences have set her name abuzz. Ri Ri Jones began writing songs when she was fifteen. By the age of seventeen, Ri Ri Jones and her father/producer JCSilk began to collaborate on various CD compilations, one of which being “I Believe In Forever,” Ri Ri Jones’ first CD compilation. During this time, she and her family began the formation of an independent label titled Choose Life Productions Enterprises – R’Town Virtual World. By means of their commerce, they developed their own CDs, MP3s, cassettes, graphic design, websites, desktop publishing, digital video, and photography. In addition, Ri Ri Jones has collaborated on the following CD compilations: “Jones Family Christmas Holiday Cheer” and “Spirit Dance.” Ri Ri Jones’ momentum toward success is manifested in her local region by increased unit sales. Also, Ri Ri Jones has contributed performances to benefit organizations in her local region that educate youth and enhance community leadership programs, which in turn continues to distinguish her name as one of a rising star. She is a proven leader in her local region and has utilized her talents to benefit sundry fundraising events. To name a few, she has performed for the following events: 1.) Gala Youth Musical Fundraiser – This event took place at People’s Institutional Baptist Church in Seattle, Washington. 2.) The Maxine Mimms Christian School Benefits Concert – This concert was established as a fundraiser for the needy students who attend Maxine Mimms Christian School. Terry Metcalf, the former NFL star, was the master of ceremonies for the evening. 3.) The African-American/Jewish Coalition Passover Celebration – An event that promotes community unity between African-Americans and Jewish people. 4.) The Maxine Mimms High School Graduation – The graduation featured Soloist Ri Ri Jones as she performed and displayed her mellifluous vocal talent. At this event, Ri Ri Jones’ performance was warmly received as she encouraged the crowd of graduates. Ri Ri Jones’ songs were featured on such radio stations as KSRB 11.50 am (Seattle), and KCR Live, www.kcrlive.com, a college radio station based in San Diego, California hosted by Wyman Brent. Also, her songs are streamed on Radio IUMA (www.iuma.com), a radio station belonging to The Internet Underground Music Archive. In addition, Ri Ri Jones sits on the board of directors for Koinonia Community Services, and is a graduate of Business Computer Training Institute.
