Artist description MARQUES is a Scottsdale, Arizona based Multimedia Artist. His work covers music, photography and abstract painting. Marques composed, arranged and produced the material on this CD, his first new release in ten years. Marques plays keyboards, synths, drums, bass & percussion on this CD. Also appearing on this album are Doug Mann on electric and accoustic guitars, Jerry Donato on sax and flute and Barry Walden and Everett Ross on additional keyboards.

Artist History Bronx NYC born & raised musician MARQUES released his first solo album after playing in various bands through the early 70's & 80's. 1983's "Avant-Garde" received harsh critical reviews for being unfocused and hard to categorize. His follow-up was 1984's "Subliminal Anxiety", which contained the single "Blowout". He began production for his next solo outing, 1986's "Driven By The Hunger", when he signed with a management company in California. He left Florida and moved to Los Angeles, working with Jann Lucas and Ran Ballard from 1987 through 1991. Two demos ensued, 1987's "Radical Trend" and 1991's "Like The Same Thing-Only Different", featuring NY vocalist Cat Bozzone. MARQUES left Los Angeles for Scottsdale, AZ in December of 1992, and 2001's "I, Hedonist" is his first new recording since.
