Artist History Initiated by two young impassioned musicians, Brainstorming is a ' flexible device-one-man-band '. Made of multiple experiments and meetings, it is characterised by intuitive and spontaneous musical approach. Flashback on its creator, Christophe. Christophe takes his first steps in the music helped of a computer MSX (3 notes of polyphony!). He also attentively listens to his sister who studies the piano and he devotes himself discreetly to this instrument. Four years later, that's the explosion! Whereas he begins the guitar, the music is discovered in him like a real passion. He will forsake even his studies of engineer to devote himself intensely to his passion, while undertaking others. Quickly, he integrates a first band, R.I.P., trio bass-song, guitars, battery. The following group, Brainstorming, is more a source of musical experiments than a band live oriented. With a drummer, they work many styles, from Fusion improvisations to Hard Rock recoveries and compos, while passing by the Blues and Funk. These years will be musicaly essential for Christophe. They will enable him to be better located by report/ratio the Music. In spite of the acquired technical luggage, only the melody and the feeling really challenge him, as much in his influences (Satriani, Vai, Metallica) that in his later approach of music writing. In 1995 starts a new musical era. Christophe forsakes the "six-strings" with the profit of the electronic instruments, allowing him more creativity and expressivity. He explores then new styles and devotes himself to lyrics writing. The following years lead him to collaborate with various Belgian artists, amateurs or semi-professionals, within the framework of composition projects, arrangements, and interpretations of his compositions.
