Artist description Based in Louisville KY, SUPERFACE continues to be one of the most popular and talented acts on the scene today. The SUPERFACE sound brings forth images of love, anger, loyalty, and betrayal which are the driving force behind the groups edgy vocals and musical style. The bands lyrics deal with spiritual issues, unafraid to reach for heaven while standing in hell, questioning right from wrong, and embracing the tranquil side of life. All of these elements create the sound that puts SUPERFACE at the forefront of rock's new school. SUPERFACE is composed of local and regional music veterans Chris Davis (vocals) Gene East (guitars/vocals) Jason Stepp (bass) Bryan Snider (guitars) and Mike O'Connell(drums). The band has shared the stage with several high-profile bands such as fellow Louisville acts Days Of The New (Interscope) FLAW (Universal/Republic) and Outspoken (Lava/Atlantic) as well as other national names like Kid Rock (Lava/Atlantic) Monster Magnet (A&M) The Hunger (Universal) and Diffuser (Hollywood). SUPERFACE has also grown popular with local radio stations 105.1 WLRS and 100.5 The Fox with songs like "Closely" and "Drain" holding the #1 spot for weeks at a time. Just recently one of their new tunes "Empty Spaces(The Giant)" has also gained the #1 spot on WLRS after only one week on the radio! The band has also been featured on the November 1998 cover of the Louisville Music News, and the 2001 WLRS Homegrown CD. SUPERFACE is currently working on new material.
