LaRae Wiley is a 30-something woman. She writes and performs original music on her own HummingTree Productions label. She is also a sometimes teacher and librarian. LaRae is a member of the Colville Confederated Tribes, Lakes Band, of Eastern Washington State. She lives in Chewelah, a town in the Colville River Valley of Eastern Washington with her children, cats, dog and husband.l |

Artist History
LaRae grew up singing with her sisters to her parents' country, jazz and pop music. She went on to sing in school choirs, eventually studying music at Whitworth College and Western Washington University. LaRae has degrees in History and Education, and has at various times taught choir, history and civics. Since 1999 she has devoted more time to the creation of original music. In November of 1999 she released her debut recording, Dissonant World. The record was well received and is now followed by her new album, Kelly Hill.d |
