Artist History
Gypsy Child was founded in Boston in the late-80s, landed in Southern California (San Diego) during the 90s.
During this time we recorded three self-produced CDs, "Gypsy Child", "Hidden Pictures" and "Stars or Bust".
Live, we played on the same bill with the likes of the Bullet Boys, Cheap Trick, Great White, LA Guns and Warrant. and appeared in venues ranging from Great Woods (MA) to The Gulf Coast Jam (Port Arthur, TX) to The Whisky a GoGo and Roxy (LA) to Cabo Wabo (Cabo San Lucas, BCS, MEX).
Now we're into the 2000s, we're currently writing NEW material and have several GREAT tunes written and recorded to 8-track as of March 2002!
Finally, a HUGE thanks to Matt - not only our drummer but one of the nicest guys you'll meet anywhere - for putting this site together and keeping Gypsy Child's music out there!
