Press Reviews
Honestly, I'm not a big fan of FFF's porn oriented tracks so I was a bit hesistant about reviewing this track. As the name implies, this is a pretty dark track but with one heck of a groove. Great arraingement of vocal, guitar and string samples. If your a fan of Sean X then I'd suggest checking out this track. Rating 85/100 Incognico on The Darkness. The implementation of the vocal sample (which I recognised... in fact I've been featuring it in my own piece over here!) is well executed. The guitars fit perfect, and the tune grooves with a serious determination that belies a solid mix and structure. This song could work very well on the dancefloor, and it's only the 'rocky' start which might detract a DJ from working it into a god set. Pacing is good and the tempo is just right to keep people moving. "The Darkness" is a very effective tune, indeed! Give it a listen, folks. I think this artist might have grown to a new level, that doesn't rely on moans to bolster his strong sonic material. I know that "The Darkness" is being cut to CD for my next "listen in the car" compilation! Rating 85/100 Sean X on The Darkness. |
