Artist History
Formed 20 years ago in Adelaide, South Australia, Fear and Loathing are this year, 2001, celebrating their birthday. Chris Wiley, a founding member of the band continues to be involved in the performing, writing and general running of the band. FAL have always been a band dedicated to humor as much as music and have been described by some as "Sillycore", "Sillier than Benny Hill and angrier than Midnight Oil." One local magazine wrote "When I myself first witnessed the spectacle, my soul was thrust to a new level of spiritual awareness and my heart bled. Then my eardrums burst...."FAL show they are a public aware band by also having sponsored an animal at the Adelaide Zoo. The animal was an axolotyl. |
