Press Reviews
Every once in a while there comes a record which I cannot find the correct words with which I can justify to which extent I find myself deeply entranced while listening to that record. Buried Inside's "In And Of The Self" is such an example. I've had many chances to put it up for review on the QCHC.COM, I mean the record's been out for more than a year, but everytime it's like ahh I'll keep it for next month...well this month I'm coming out, this is one of the BEST records ever to come out from CANADA. Sure, the almost constant screamo voice will scare a lot of people away, and the groundbreaking melodies are definitely not for the average Victory HC kid. But if you can get past that, you'll find a record that means so much more than the combined work of five individuals, you'll find a record that represents a small yet definitive light of hope for the Canadian HC scene. In many ways, this band picks up where One Eyed God Prophecy left... in fact if you were a huge fan of OEGP (such as I was) you'll notice a great deal of similarities between the two bands, both musically and essentially. At any rate, it is best that you decide for yourself just how much your local scene means to you, so check out this band now! -jeffx QCHC.com |
