Artist description
UJO is a musically diverse band. They have very beautiful acoustic songs such as "18 Years" and fun rockin songs like "Carolyn's song." U.J.O. simply writes songs about their life experiences and since they are driven by thier personal relationships with Christ, their lyrics often could be considered "Christian." |

Artist History
Back in the day, there was a band known as "Ibarragi's Cross." This band played for a few years gaining quite a following in Atlanta. Over these years, the band lost and gained new members until there was only 2 original members. They realized that "Ibbaragi's Cross" was no longer, yet a brand new band, which they named "Uncle Jed's Oil" in late 2000. The name "Uncle Jed's Oil" is a metaphor of many people's lives. Beverly Hillbilly's Uncle Jed unknowingly lived on the top of something that could change everything almost his entire life. Like Uncle Jed many people live their whole lives never taking the time to look to see how a RELATIONSHIP with Christ can change everything for the best! |
