    Artist History
The concept of SUBHUMAN began in October 2000 By Mike and Joni Lawler. After being in various bands throughout theirmusic careersthe couple decided to call upon Dave Johnsonto give theirnew musical territory a little kick. When Dave came on the scene it gave the twoa new direction.Excitement was inevitable as the trio continuedto rehearse. There was light at the end of the tunnel. With the internet as a guide. The three quicklyfound percussionist Mark Loomis.Astonished by his hi-tech drums, personalityand ability to play Mark becamethe drummer. After playing together for a few months, Joniwas becoming unhappy having to play bass andsing, thus the quest of finding a new bassistbegan.Once again through the power of the internetthe band found someone. With his energy, enthusiasm, knowledge and bass lines, Paul VanWeelden became the new bassist for the band. Now SUBHUMAN was complete. To date they have been keeping up on rehearsals, gigs, and recording, in their effort to make theirmark on the music industry.
