Artist description
Matthew Presidentehas been playing piano since the age of 10, and composing since 12. Inspired by the music he grew up to (The Beatles, Elton John, Cat Stevens, Led Zeppelin) Matthew has generated a unique style blending rock with lush piano and glorious pop. In November of 2001 he independently wrote, recorded, funded, and released his first full length CD "Things that go through your head in Math Class". This very personal, emotionally and musically layered Album is a collection of songs written throughout and about high school and the universal experiences and troubles that a young person faces. |
