Artist History
Jim has been performing and living in the Seattle area since 1986. In addition to his quartet JQC, he also leads the jazz sextet Innervisions, and performs with Seattle big bands The Jazz Police and Roadside Attraction. Jim is also the principal composer, arranger, and musical director for The 88th Street Jazz and Blues Orchestra, a 13-piece "little" big band which showcases a variety of music, from Sinatra-style swing to Tower of Power funk. The quartet has been together since 2000. |
