Artist History The band originally formed in October 2000 (in Hatfield, Herts) with Jon on vocals and guitar, Adam on bass, Kieran on drums and DJ Malachai on decks. Shortly after, Martin joined to play guitar with Jon eventually putting the guitar down and concentrating on vocals. In January 2001 they entered the studio for 2 days and recorded the Intelligence Brings Fear demo, which got some excellent reviews from many zine's, but shortly afterwards problems started, Kieran left to concentrate on the band he joined before if all else fails (called Eden Maine) in April 2001 which left iaef with no drummer, and due to Kieran's immense talents it was impossible to find someone anywhere near as good as him. Around 5 months after Kieran left (September 2001), Martin took over drumming duties (we were based in St Albans, Herts at this time) and Jon took up the guitar again (with Malachai leaving and Adam still on bass) and if all else fails gigged for a while as a 3 piece, things weren't really as good as they had been before and the band split up in November 2001. So here we are now 18 months after the band split (May 2003) and WE'RE BACK and based in Peterborough, Cambs. Martin's on drums once more, Jon's still doing vocals and guitar but Adam's now moved onto guitar as well with Marley being the newcomer on bass. You all thought you had got rid of us, but oh no, you were wrong, if all else fails.... try again. If you wanted to know what everyone's been up to in the past 18 months, well Jon and Adam formed London based Last Ditch Effort who recorded their first demo just 3 months after forming and received airplay on Radio One, about 3 months after the first demo was recorded Martin joined LDE too on guitar and they recorded their second demo in November 2002, but shortly after the band split due to personality clashes, also in that time Adam played Drums for a band called Tiempo Cura, they recorded a demo and went the same was as all of Adams band and split shortly after.
