Artist description
ESTEP is the revival of the 80's Manchester sound. Being from El Paso, Texas, they derive their sound from a number of influences including mid-50's rockabilly,and 80's BritPOP. ESTEP was formed from the ashes of the defunct band "Annabella 55". ESTEP includes: Dennis Estep (former Menzy Plays On), John Hernandez (former The Sloanes), Frank Nava (former She Said) and Gus Arellano (former El Siete Drinking Club).The band is very passionate about creating viable music that can transcend genres by emphasizing on quality songwriting and infectious melodies. ESTEP has had a very busy 2002 and is looking forward to the future. They have been promoting their current single (some radio play) as well as playing shows with well known national and international acts as: Anything Box, Modern English, The Sweet and Tender Hooligans and Gene Loves Jezebel. ESTEP has released their new EP titled "Wondering", which is available on "BACKSTAGE STUDIO RECORDS" . |

Artist History
Estep was formed from the ashes of the defunct band "Annabella 55". At the tail end of 2000, Estep began its initial formation. In March 2001, Estep finalized its line up with former members of "Annabella 55". The band has been in intense rehearsal getting ready for the year ahead.
