Artist History started in 1998 under the name pouser punx with origonal memember nick, mac, and jarrod as just another garage band. soon after in early 1999 vocalist Alex joind up and the bands name soon changed to 6-cents. A year passed and the band finaly went in for their first recording a self titled 5 song demo tape. during recording the band faced troubles and as a result 6-cents and their gutarist mac went their seperate ways. this then opend the door for once bass player now lead guitar skot to join up and finish off the recording with the band. Another month or so passed and the band started to play shows around toronto and mississauga. eventualy band member ryan was added on back up guitar to give the band a fuller sound and somewhere in there band member jarrod left and new bass player/ back up vocalist josh was added. since then 6-cents has been in a state of constant evolution writeing songs for whatever mood they were in and haveing a shit load of fun at the same time.
