Artist History
Preston Clarke moved to New York City in April 2000 from Los Angeles. There, as a member of indie-rock trio St. Surreal, he helped form Coventry Records to release the band's 'At Sixes and Sevens' and 'a fun night out of fasting' to national acclaim. By December 2000, he had assembled a group that included upright bass, drums, accordian, and cello. He landed a residency at The Living Room and moved on to play Arlene Grocery, CB's Gallery and Fez to increasingly larger crowds. His debut album 'lanechange' is being released on his new label, Biscuit Records.. |
