Artist History Born in Quebec City, this Montreal native grew up to the sounds of funk and disco before discovering the house and techno rythms of Detroit DJ's such as Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson and Derick May. At twelve years of age he was already buying vinyl and mixing music. Being a close friend of Robert de la Gauthier he learnt to love different styles of electronic music.His introduction into live DJ'ing was but a coincidence when a friend let him spin a two hour set at an acid house party. Ever since then he has been hooked on vinyl. Over the years Sat has moved his styles from acid, techno and progressive house to finally finding his passion, combining tech-house and hard house. Everybody that has met Sat knows that this charismatic and quirky DJ takes his music seriously. He is definitely no stranger to the club circuit. His spinning at raves and events reads like a 'whose who' of music. Playing together with well-known artists such as Daft Punk, Stacy Pullen and Andy Smith from Portishead. Sat currently calls Montreal his home, where he has been resident DJ at Club Unity for over a year. He also plays clubs across North America and Europe on a regular basis.
