Artist description
Just to sum it up?
Versatility and performance, these are the key words to describe the hardest working band in the Okanagan. The band consists of Brad Krauza (lead vocals, bass guitar)
Tim Reardon (lead guitar, lead vocals), Mike Uzick (percussion, background vocals). With an impressive work schedule and resume and years of experience, they have the potential for any event at any time (It is believed to be called "On The Road"). So how long does it take to get it right? Well so far The Young'uns have put in 12 years, 51 weeks a year!! Now that’s serious hard work and dedication to get it right!!
In addition to the large list of over 300 covers, which includes everything from country, blues, classic rock, to contemporary top 40 hits, they'd also had just released in March of '2000 there own CD called "Y2K" which has a variety music on it from acoustic ballets to reggae, blues to rock and roll. They've had excellent sales and support from local fans and radio stations such as Power 104.7 Kelowna, CBC Radio, CJIB, Vernon... In the last year. Thank you.
The Young'uns have managed to build a strong resume and foundation for bigger and better things. The Young'uns have opened up for a number of shows with artist's like Dr. Hook, Diamond Rio, Alana Miles, Colin James, Jann Arden, The Moffats, Amanda Marshall (at the Brent Gilchrist benefit for the BC Children's Hospital in Vernon), and Trooper on a few
Occasions, The Merritt Mountain fest (3 yrs), Calgary Stampede (Nashville North Stage)…
The Young’uns have been the house band at Roses Waterfront Pub every Sunday,
from 9-1am, for the last two and a half years hosting one of the best jam sessions around.
