Artist History
Formed in 1999, twins Steve and James met luke at a local music store and formed Jintow. They've been on ITV in front of 250,000 viewers and their songs have been played as far away as Brazil.

"The song "Comet" is simple but effective riff-driven tune that reminds me of China Drum when they were a trio. This is a bit like your favourite bar of chocolate: there's nothing unexpected about it, but it gives you a sort of a comforting bloodrush.... Could be worth hearing more"

"Comet is remarkably good, so much in fact that it's probably the best song within its genre that I've received to date. A mix of Green Day, circa Basket Case, punk-pop opens up the song. Vocally similar too, especially in the verses. Choruses are completely different, much more Uk-indie in sound and in the way it is delivered. A decent memorable chorus is all I ask for, one that shows good vocals, and this is perfect"

"Up next were Bradford three-piece Jintow. Tight
as the bass player's kecks, Jintow rocked in a power-pop/rock type way. Obvious influences would be The Jam or Green Day, but they had a fairly original sound,
nothing particularly new but the sort of music that will always be popular with a certain audience. Each song was a catchy three-minute classic with really tight harmonies sung by identical twin brothers Steve and James, backed up with tight impressive drumming. At first Jintow were dull to watch on stage - the music was energetic but the threesome looked a bit bored. As the set wore on however, they became more into it and rocking out a bit. The excellent singer/bass player had JJ Burnel's stage moves and playing technique and a strong sounding voice belting out catchy melodies - the one that really sticks out now is the "Come on, come on, come on"; song, which was probably their stand-out song. Jintow are worth seeing if you like poppy punky sorta stuff but could do with refining their catalogue. Overall I think Jintow have potential"

"This punk-pop three-piece have been ready and primed
to be shot into the musical stratosphere ever since they won national recognition on ITV's Tonight Show a year ago. And with a collection of perfectly-crafted,
punchy tunes that scream Basket Case-era Green Day or an on-form Weezer, who is to say the Cleckheaton boys will not be flying back into the nation's consciousness very soon. Comet has been part of the set for a while now, and it's infuriatingly catchy chorus is still as addictively memorable as it is as likely to stay in your head and annoy the pants off you all day. The close harmonies of identical twins James and Steve Anderson were obviously honed in the womb, and they cut through a tight, if not altogether original, guitar backdrop and the thumping beats of Luke Ellis."
