Artist History
Empower blends music styles of many types. We make music thats blends melody and emotion in our music. Empower started back in 98. Ryan Dixon and Adam Insley were already playing with some people. But in the first week of 8th grade Adam asked Luke to play with them. Luke accepted because he wanted to play in a band. Since then we have been through a number of singers :John Tomasello, Greg Castelletto, Dan "the man" Burke Harris, David Truesdale, Josh merry, Jordan McLamb. Then in the sophomore year of highschool Luke met our singer, Matt McAuley at a show. He was introduced to him by a friend and for some reason Luke asked Matt if he could sing because Empower desperately needed a singer. Matt said he could, so they exchanged info and later got together to jam. As soon as Luke and the rest of the band heard Matt's beautiful voice they knew they had found their singer. So the story of empower began.. |

Press Reviews
Timmy face - - cary WOW! If you like paparoach this is a great band to see live. A lot of emotion in their talent show performance. I almost was beaten up by a group of Slipknot fans tho which kinda sucked. Anywho, solid band, not sure what elements of punk exist in their music, but i havent read their lyrics so maybe im wrong... Chase of Joe's Bad Day - Cary, NC You guys kick major ass. I just wait for the day to hear you played on the radio time and time again. I cant wait to go to one of your shows and hear what more good stuff you guys have, since i've only heard you once. Anyhow, peace, and keep kicking ass... |
