Artist description
A very rare (and unpredictable) blend of ideas and personalities make up dieagnostic. Our songs are the products of continual compromise and our unmerciful perfectionist criticisms. We believe in quality over quantity. Many songs never leave the rehearsal space. Although many people find it convenient to categorize music with contemporary points-of-reference ("They sound like this band or that band..."), we feel our sound is quite unique. An interesting combination, to say the least. |

Artist History
dieagnostic was formed in 1993 in Augusta, GA. We have developed a rather large fanbase here, and have played throughout the Southeast as well (yep, mostly dive bars). We created a local Halloween weekend megashow here in Augusta called Bloodfest, with attendance reaching 900+ last year (this year will be Bloodfest 8). We've released two albums, one on cassette (You Asked For It-1995), and the CD "emerge" in 1997. There's also some older demo stuff floating around out there somewhere. This town can be a terrible place to be a musician/artist. |

Press Reviews
dieagnostic has been featured in the local papers and television news. We've also been reviewed in Metal Maniacs "Firing Squad" section (April 1999). There was even an interview with our drummer Mark by Smother e-zine, but I'm not sure it's available anymore. |
