Music Style Melodic Rock with subtle Irish & Latin influences.

Musical Influences : Traditional Irish Music, Blues, Latin, (Carribean to Cuban) Brazilian samba, Reggae, Ska, Arabic. Practically anything mysterious & exotic! Classical music generally folk based. My First Rock Gig was at the age of 3 my Mother brought me to see Phil Lynnott(Thin Lizzy)in Blackrock park in Dublin.My family had a harping tradition which is why I love Irish music from Carolan to Sean O Riada to Planxty. I saw what Horslips & Stocktons Wing were trying & what Moving Hearts would have succeeded if the market had been more aware as I think it is now. I enjoy what The Afro Celt Sound system are doing & see Shane McGowan taking up the Mantle of Luke Kelly. Sinead,Davey Spillane There's a lot happening in Irish music thats good. Songwriters I respect in no order are Bacharach, Dylan, Tom Jobim,Bob Marley,Buddy Holly,Bowie,Prince,Spingsteen,John Lennon,Marvin Gaye,James Brown,U2,REM,Juan Luiz Guerra, The Police, Doors, Mavericks, Morrison, Mitchell, The Stones Crowded House, Elvis Costello, Mike Scott, Neil Young, Brian Wilson there's others I'll remember later. Music is like Women you Love different ones at different times or if your lucky you love as many as you can at the same time!

Artist History The current band is the realisation of many years gigging experience from Ireland where I combined the power of a rock band with a string quartet. The skin & hair used to fairly fly sometimes but it worked.Travelling in Europe Africa & Arabia I became exposed to more diverse music & settling for a time in Spain enjoying their Flamenco became more aware of Latin music. When I moved to the U.S. I tried to combine it all in my Songwriting to reflect the joy & fun that is in music with the natural brooding that we Irish excellent at! gives us our writing edge.Yet we're just as likely to be the life & soul of the party too.I've surrounded myself with what I believe is the best talent & have fashioned them into an act that hopefully will bring a bit of extra magic to audiences.
